As soon as windows starts I'm noticing a high cpu load from mbam.exe process while a standard (limited) user is logged in.

The load stays for a long time and never seems to end, I've been waiting for 3 hours now.

I can open the program window and everything, it doesnt seem to be running any scans, it's pretty much idle.

The problem doesn't happen while using the administrator account.

Logs attached, thanks in advance.

Hello zuznehpf and :welcome:

It appears as if your re-install of MBAM2 did not go well. Please cold start your system and log in as ADM in normal mode to follow the steps below:

  • Please try the following and let us know if this corrects your issue: MBAM Clean Removal Process 2.x.
  • If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and individually attach the 3 requested logs in a reply to this thread: Diagnostic Logs.
  • The 3 files, from Step 2, to be individually attached from your desktop are: CheckResults.txt, FRST.txt and Addition.txt. Please do not Copy and Paste them into a reply.
  • NOTE: There is an FAQ section with valuable information located in Common Questions, Issues, and their Solutions.
If you generate more diagnostic reports for posting, please do so only logged in as ADM and execute FRST and/or mbam-check from ADM's desktop only.

Please let us know the status of your issue in a reply to this thread.

Thank You. :)
