Hello and :welcome: :

I understand that you tried reinstalling, but it's not clear if you used the removal tool and "best practices". So, if rebooting the computer does not fix the problem, let's start here:

  • Please follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
  • If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and attach to your next reply the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 3 logs are: FRST.txt, Addition.txt and CheckResults.txt)
  • NOTE: There is an FAQ section with valuable information located here - Common Questions, Issues, and their Solutions

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Hi, and welcome, hosscomp:

This thread was started by a different user nearly a month ago.

Each computer is unique.
It's possible (even likely) that your issue may be different, even though it sounds "the same". :(

This didn't work for me. It still says
Real-Time Protection:         (red X) Available with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium,  which is what the License line says it is.

  • Please follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
  • If that does not correct the issue, then please start a NEW, SEPARATE forum topic using this clickable cjfj.png button.
The staff and experts will be able to more easily provide both you and the OP with individual help to get you both up and running.

Thanks for your patience and understanding,

Hi:

OOPS!
You thread is here: Real-Time Protection - No Protection

And I just happened to notice the same problem in my reply to you there: :D

In the interim: did you install MBAM while logged into Windows with an Admin account?

The forum moderator team may collect all of your posts into YOUR thread.

But, in any event, yes, that seemed to have been the issue.

Glad you got it sorted out.

Cheers,
