It installs fine, runs on demand scans and updates on demand without problems. However, it refuses to SCAN or UPDATE on schedule. Is there a service or something that needs to be elevated? Thanks! There was the original Windows Home Server in 2007. Then Power Pack updates for a few years. Then Windows Home Server 2011, the next version of this operating system, was released on 6 April 2011 Windows Home Server was dropped for 2012 versions of Server. So if you're using Windows Server 2008 R2 then no it is not a consumer version of Windows Home Server and originally cost roughly about $800 dollars to purchase. The scheduler options may need to be altered but they should still work as there are many customers that do run it on Server 2008 R2 and I've not really heard many complaints about this same issue from them. If you like I can review some logs and see if I can determine why it's not operating for you. Please read the following and post back the 3 requested logs.
