PUP.OptionalSearchProtect.A, what is this?

I did a maleware scan and I got a bunch of PUP.optionalseartchprotect.A stuff.

 

Is this harmful at all and what is the purpose of this? Should I just quaratine them all

Yes, it is generally safe and advisable to allow MBAM to quarantine them.
Having said that, some PUPs can be rather pesky, requiring multiple tools for complete removal.

And we cannot know for sure what's on your system, without seeing the logs.

However, we aren't permitted to work on malware removal issues here in this particular forum section.
