apsun Posted February 2, 2015 ID:935644 Share Posted February 2, 2015 I have a paid version of Malwarebytes that I got many years ago when there was only a one time fee. I just got a popup to enter the key and product ID number. This is the first time ever that I received this popup. Do you think it is just a glitch? 1PW Posted February 2, 2015 ID:935654 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Hello apsun and If you had upgraded to the Premium level last year, and if the popup doesn't appear legitimate, then conceivably it's something that promotes suspicion. Have you been running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.0.4.1028 in its 14-day trial mode after a re-install or similar? Is the demand for your Key/ID still present after a Windows restart to normal mode? Had you perhaps inadvertently deactivated MBAM? Thank you.
apsun Posted February 8, 2015 Author ID:937614 Share Posted February 8, 2015 I made the purchase years ago-2012 or before I think. I am not running MAM 2.04.1028 in the 14 day trial mode. I have not deactivated MAM. I have restated the computer did not get the popup again. My key still shows and MAM is listed as Premium. Thanks for your reply.
