Malwarebytes tells me it has discovered malware I go through the quarantining process and it tells me to reboot the computer to finish the process. After I reboot those same two are still there. macadamia Posted February 2, 2015 Author ID:935441 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Interestingly I decided to uninstall Malwarebytes. The problems I had connecting to sites and the pesky porn site ad which kept popping up have disappeared. If it was the dns changer trojan the problem would still be there.I ran Zoek and Farbar tools as recommended by a helper on the forum and they discovered nothing. It could be a false positive on our part but i would need to see the log to be sure. Its also possible your router may be hijacked and upon reboot its putting these back.
