[Faxzil]

Clamwin Antivirus identifies this trojan as being on my hard drive. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware does not even identify it. Be interested to hear any positive advice re this issue.

More information would be needed.
 
If you have a sample of possible malware that is not yet detected by MBAM, then I suggest the following:

• Please read the instructions for malware sample submissions here and here
• Then, please submit the requested info (zipped file, VirusTotal analysis link, etc.) in a new topic here: Newest Malware Threats

The Research Team will evaluate the sample to determine its suitability for inclusion in the MBAM database.

(Alternatively, if you think that the detection might be a False Positive by Clamwin, then you would need to report that to the folks at Clamwin.)

 

OTOH, if you think you might be infected, then I suggest that you please follow the advice in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers.
It explains the options for free, expert help >>AND<< the suggested, preliminary steps to expedite the process.
A malware analyst will assist you with looking into your issue.
