Malawarebytes Anti-Malaware + MBA Exploit

Hello I have been using these products for quite some time, but my friend says having both of them is a waste of disk space is it true? Or do you think it is fine to leave both products on the computer?

MBAM and MBAE are 2 entirely different, complementary products.

Simply put, MBAM protects against the "what" of malware, while MBAE protects against the "how".

Alongside your anti-virus, they both provide layered protection against certain types of zero-hour and zero-day threats often missed by the standard AVs.

 

As far as disk space, the MBAM installer is ~20 Mb and the MBAE installer is ~3 Mb.

So that should not be an issue.

 

I'm sure that the staff and forum experts will have some additional input.
