I have had MB installed on my laptop for over  2 years and i purchased the premium version last year and all has been well until 23/1/15.

I initially got the message "SDKDatebaseLoadDefaults failed with code : 20012". I updated and tried to run a full scan when the message saying "The scan failed to run successfully" came up. I uninstalled MB (using the program from MB's website) tried to download a new version with my firewall disabled during these attempts.
However I keep getting the error message "source file corrupted" when ever I go to install it. I have had it installed before but now I can not install it.

I have re downloaded many times...and still does not install. I am not sure if there is some malware stopping it loading. My Mcafee firewall and windows defender have scanned my laptop and say all is well.

Can anybody please help.

Hello Firefox

Thank you for your reply. I have followed the steps you set by using the removal software and then down loading MB but the software once down loaded still throws up the same message "source file corrupted".

I then followed you advice of down loading the farbar diagnostic software. i have completed the scan and have attached the files for your consideration. However no CheckResults.txt file was produced by the scan.

i hope you will be able to help.

regards
