Suddenly can't connect to the Internet.

My laptop is infested with virus and pop ups saying that 'Your explorer browser and Windows computer may be compromised by security threat' so I downloaded malwarebytes to clear my virus. However, while it is scanning my internet connection got cut. What should I do to be able to connect to Internet again? URGENT!! Thank you!
