Last night I tried to download some software to cut my daughter's performance music, and low and behold I got the Vosteran hijacker installed on my computer. It was under my wife's account and every time I tried to use MBAM it would find the hijacker, but it couldn't remove it.  I went ahead and logged into my admin account and the Chrome browser was indeed infected.  I went through the instructions found in the following topic (https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/161498-cant-get-rid-of-vosteran/)%C2'> executed MBAM which seems to have finally got the hijacker removed.  I also ran the Zoek scan, but I'm not sure how to interpret the results to make sure everything is clean again.  I haven't taken any further actions since the ZOEK scan because I wanted professional advice before proceeding.

I believe I have all the logs necessary when someone is ready for the results.
