husnulzzzzzznul Posted January 22, 2015 ID:931796 Share Posted January 22, 2015 Hi, recently i have several weird extensions installed onto my google chrome web browser. websites such as intriend.net has been opening new tabs on its own and usually i just closed them until it got a little out of hand. I got adblocker on and also another extension used to block webpages which i used to block intriend.net from opening anymore tabs. It worked well for the first 1-2 weeks. Only to discover yesterday my laptop kept restarting and saying there was a problem starting up. It was fine afterwards. Today when i switched my laptop on, my wallpaper and everything changed by itself. This is a personal laptop and I'm the only one using it. My adblocker and the website blocking extension went missing afterwards. I already removed all the weird extensions and only kept this two. but now my extensions are empty except for those google doc stuffs. It seems that this malware sort of removed my important extensions as well. It would be really great if someone could help me out on this. Thank you for taking your time to review this problem.
