I just installed Malwarebytes Free version 2.0.4.1028. It found several items that are marked for Deletion on Reboot. These items are mission critical and I need to prevent them from being removed.

I have not closed the program or rebooted the computer.

How can I prevent the files and registry settings from being removed? It is imperative that I prevent these 20 items from being removed.

Can I delete a registry setting or remove the program?

I would attached the log file but I cannot find it; maybe it isn't created until I exit the program.

Any help would be REALLY appreciated.

If a reboot has not already happened, go to HISTORY > QUARANTINE.  The detections should be listed there.  You would need to select EACH ONE of them, then click RESTORE.  There is not a single click for all because we want you to be selective and not put yourself back into a dangerous situation.  I hope this helps.

Good evening,

I just purchased a year subscription (v 2.0.4.1028), ran the first scan on my Win7 system, and ended up with two files marked for deletion on reboot.  I tried to RESTORE the items as you (the mods) describe above, but like LostInWindows, I was told they could not be restored, because they were marked for deletion.

Any advice would be welcomed.  Thanks in advance...

I thought I had the correct answer for both of you, but it sounds like I do not.  I just sent an email to someone who has better knowledge on this product than I do, in hopes that he can provide assistance to you.  I apologize for adding to the confusion, and hope to make good on an answer.
