Need help determining whether spytech is legitimate or not.

Greetings to Malwarebytes Forum members.

As the title says,I would like to know whether spytech > http://www.spytech-web.com/index.shtml  is legittmate or not as I am going to purchase their software soon.

I emailed their support and someone replied but I would like to get a second opinion here at Malwarebytes.

And also I am only installing this software (SpyAgent) on my computer which I own and NOT for nefarious purposes.

Any help on this would be appreciated

It is legitimate.  While it is legal to monitor your children or your employees ( on employer furnished equipment ) it would not be legal to install the software on a neighbour's or girlfriend/boyfriend's computer.

 

This is grey-area software.

 

Laws will vary from state to state and from country to country.  It is your job to understand and abide by the law of the jurisdiction where this software will be used.
