Backdoor bot found on full scan today

I have just run my weekly full scan and backdoor bot was found in my chrome application folder. I have been trying to read the threads but can't tell if this is a false positive or whether I need to do anything. Can you please help an aging IT user who is unsure what to do. I have the malwarebytes pro version and run XP windows with all the updates. thanks

Can you post a copy of the scan log where the item was detected as well as the logs below?

I am using firefox and when I try to download Farbar recovery scan tool my antivirus Avast keeps telling me it is blocking an infection Win32:Evo-gen [susp].  It will not let me download. Is it safe to ignore this message please?

Farbar are safe to use, they are uses thousands of times a day...

You can temporarily disable your antivirus software while you download FRST
