Not sure if this is the right place to post this...  Was going to install Software Information for Windows (free version) from Major Geeks site:

Scanned download with Malwarebytes Premium (database up-to-date) -- no malware found, nor any warning about a PUP (I have PUP notification checked).  License page shows Open Candy terms.  AVG and VirusTotal found the PUP before i installed.

 

Just wanted to bring to your attention if they are using a method your algorithm can't find...

False Negative -- A malicious object is NOT detected
 
False Positive -- A legitimate file is falsely flagged as Malicious or as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP)
 
 
If you want to post a malware or PUP submission then you post in the Research Center  area of the forum.

Please reference the following on how to provide sample submissions such that Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBAM) can detect targeted but presently undetected threats.
