pup.optional.dogpile.a

Recommended Posts

I got a trial of Malwarebytes. Every day since I've gotten a message saying it found a non-malware object. When I clicked on it, I found that it found something called pup.optional.dogpile.a. At first I quarantined it. As days went by (without doing anything differently or weird) and I kept getting the notice and quarantine, it got kinda old. I don't know what this pup is or what it does, but I don't want to make deleting this an every day routine part of my day. I have used www.dogpile.com as my search engine for 10 years without issue. I don't know where this pup might come from. If this is a "false positive", I'm disapointed. If it's real I want to know where it's coming from and how to combat it. Please help.
