Google Chrome Backdoor.bot (still not fixed?)

I just did a mbam update and still the following files are reported as backdoor.bot:

 

Chrome.exe

old_Chrome.exe

delegate_execute.exe

 

When will this be fixed ?

@edit: Chrome.exe isn't dedected anymore but the others are.

Can u please zip and attach the files here. Really dont have anything to go on and cant duplicate here any longer.

Could we know what exactly was the problem here? I'm a little worried, I updated DB and I'm currently posting from a freshly installed Chrome but are we... safe? Nothing was detected by MBAM scan but I'm still curious as to why this happened in the first place.

It wasnt malware but a false positive. You are safe. Please update and it shouldnt be deteted anymore.

I understand this. I was just wondering why it specifically happened with Chrome. Sorry for breaking the rules, I just didn't want to make another thread as the problem is now gone and everything is working as it should. I guess I'm not going to get a detailed answer as to why this happened anyway.

Malware sometimes imititates legit files trying to trick AV's and such. They imitiated google chrome and our filters didnt filter out the legit chrome. We adjusted this and beefed up the filters for legitimate browsers.
