How do I Add My New Tablet PC to My license

Recommended Posts

I just got a TW800 tablet PC for Christmas. Previously, my computer repair guy installed MWBAM Premium for me on my desktop as part of the cleanup of a crypto-locker attack on that PC. As the license is for 3 computers, I would like to install it on my tablet. My account info shows an account identifier, but the license key is hidden. So how do I install a copy on my tablet?

Hi:

This is a Windows tablet, correct?

(Just checking, as MBAM Consumer will only run on Windows platform; there is a different product (MBAM Mobile) for Android.)

You will just download and install the program on the tablet: How do I install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware?

Then you will need the license ID and key to "activate" the program, as explained here: How do I activate Malwarebytes Anti-Malware?

If your "computer repair guy" didn't provide that information, then you'll need to contact him to obtain it.

Until then, you can use the 14-day Trial, which is fully functional and which is enabled by default during the installation (unless the user opts out).

If you did not purchase the MBAM Premium yourself, then I don't think that contacting the e-commerce partner, cleverbridge, will be fruitful.

However, here are the instructions: How do I obtain my license key or confirmation email?

2 other options:

  1. IFFF your DESKTOP previously ran a licensed, activated version of ***MBAM Pro 1.75***, then there are couple of ways to get the license ID and Key information from the desktop. You would then use it to activate MBAM 2.0 Premium on the new tablet.  If the desktop never ran 1.75 Pro, then that is not an option.
  2. Contact Consumer Support >>here<< -- they *may* be able to help.

Please post back and let us know.

Thanks,
