Hi,

I just logged into my windows 7 computer today and noticed that all my passwords have been deleted.

All my windows shortcuts are missing. All passwords from all browsers are missing (I use both firefox and chrome) - when I go to chrome usernames and passwords, there is nothing there. All my passwords from the "windows live mail" application are missing and need to be re-filled in (this program is an app and doesnt use a browser)

This is really strange, for all this to happen at the same time.

I'm wondering could it be a corrupt windows user profile? Are there any other reasons why this might happen?

I'm starting to think a hacker could have done this, and they want me to refill in all my passwords so they can keylog them.

Cheers

Hi:

Thanks for the logs. They show that the computer is infected.

(And you are running an outdated version of MBAM.)

We are not permitted to work on possible malware-related issues here in this section of the forum.

So, for expert assistance, I suggest that you please follow the advice in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers.
It explains the options for free, expert help >>AND<< the suggested, preliminary steps to expedite the process.
A malware analyst will assist you with looking into your issue.

>>>As you have already run FRST, you just need to start a NEW, SEPARATE topic in the malware removal section. Please include the same logs when you do. Then, please wait for an expert helper to assist you -- it might be 48 hours before someone is available. So, please do not "bump" the thread during that time. Doing so could lead to delay getting help.

Thanks,
