I apologize if this has been handled elsewhere, but I can't seem to find it.

Every single time I run a scan, Malwarebytes finds and quarantines trojan.clicker.fms.  I reboot the computer as instructed, and when running a scan minutes later, it finds exactly the same thing.  How do I get rid of this file for good, and how serious is it?

Many, many thanks for your help. This is driving me crazy!

Hello and :welcome: :

We can't work on malware diagnostics and removal here in this sub-section of the forum.

So, for expert assistance, I suggest that you please follow the advice in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers.
It explains the options for free, expert help >>AND<< the preliminary steps to expedite the process.
A malware analyst will guide you through the cleanup process.

Thanks,

That's perfectly fine.

I was just steering you to the correct area to get help for this issue. :)

I see that you now have a new topic in the malware removal section.

Please be patient waiting for expert help -- do not "bump" your post for at least 48 hours.

Once a helper responds, please stay with him/her until you are given the "all clear".

Thanks,
