Help Plz: Outbound connections to malicious sites blocked

Recommended Posts

I have the game War Thunder through the Steam game service.  When the game client patched tonight, I started seeing outbound connection attempts blocked by malwarebytes from War Thunder's launcher.exe to hosts mostly in Russia (I ran whois on the IP addresses.)

My security software is not throwing errors about any other application on my machine, just the War Thunder launcher.  Is the steam launcher infected?  Is my computer infected? What is the fix?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks very much!

Here is a screenshot of my malwarebytes log:

Hello rh303 and :welcome:

The documentation of your issue is very useful.

The logs indicate the computer is probably infected and malware removal actions are not permitted in this sub-forum.

I recommend following the advice from the topic: Available Assistance for Possibly Infected Computers and have one of the Malware Removal Experts assist you with your issue.

If, as recommended, you do open a topic in Malware Removal Help, please make reference to this thread.

If you would like to get off to a very fast start, the Malware Removal Experts would appreciate it if you would also Copy and Paste (not attach) both the FRST.txt and the Addition.txt output diagnostic reports from only Log Set 1 into your new topic.

Thank you.
