Hi,

 

Our software, Speedify, (http :// speedify .com) functions like a VPN and connects to one of our servers. Prior to connecting, the software performs a connection check against the different servers. Malwarebytes is blocking the requests against one of our servers (80.82.64.238)

 

The process making the request is SpeedifyUI.exe

 

It is attempting to access

 

hxxp://80.82.64.238:49190/ping

 

which just returns the JSON response:

 

{ test: "test" }

 

The port is randomized and could change over time

 

We recently acquired this particular server, so it may have been blocked from previous activities.
