mystartsearch infection

So... IE and firefox start up to the mystartsearch webpage

Thats what they open onto.

 

Run malwarebytes, it nuked something like 100 files, restarted my computer... and no change. The current methods for removing from firefox do not work. I have cleaned all extensions and plugins, I already have my newtabs redirecting to a page I want (which actually defeats mystartsearch on new tabs), when I click home button it goes to home... but sitll, when firefox starts up it goes to mystartsearch instead of the homepage URL

 

Just run a second scan of malwarebytes, and it finds nothing now.

 

I can't see any processes running in the task manager that could be it, I used add remove to get the files it added, on the 17/12/2013 (sneaky little thing, changing the year to trick me) but still no effect. The only effect now appears to be this start up homepage change.

 

Any ideas?

Before we start please read and note the following:

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Fixed it, found you helped someone with this a few days ago, appears that malwarebytes does not remove this right now, but adwcleaner does!

 

take that malware!
