Update downloading slow?

I have updated my Malwarebytes on my notebook and desktop and each time the downloading updates seem to be taking longer than usual.

Has anyone else noticed the same thing happening with downloading recent updates?

P.S. Just tried to download updates to my desktop and got pop-up message that 'database' could not be found and did I want to download another. I clicked yes and it appeared to download.

Then I got another message that read:

"An error occurred. Please report the following error code to the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware support team.

Error code = 706(0.9)

Does anyone know what is going on? This is really confusing and quite annoying, upsetting, etc.

What will this exe program do? Will it run a program that will 'change/correct' my MalwareBytes program?

Or is it a written information file that I must read?

Greetings alicez . It simply installs MBAM's definitions file to the proper directory and can help when troubleshooting updating issues because they are often caused by a corrupted database, which this installer would correct.

Didn't have to!

I turned computer off and then on again and opened MB and tried to update and update downloaded as usual. Seems to be okay (so far).
