Can't download new MBAM version

I received a pop-up notice that a new version of MBAM was ready to install. When I click install now, another pop-up says that I must be logged in as an administrator. I am using a brand new week old laptop and I am the only user and I checked and I am logged in as administrator. What can I do to install this new version? Also, do I install it overtop of the existing version?

P.S. I am using Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

Just download the latest version from the Malwarebytes site and install over the existing version...  What version do you have installed?

That worked for me.  I got the message to update on only one of my computers so I did as you suggested on my other three only before you suggested it
