Unable to redirect Logging with CLI commands

Recommended Posts

Maybe somebody can help with a problem I am having with Malwarebytes logging. When I try to set up a script using Malwarebytes cli command “in .bat file” fails to redirect the logging to custom file directly and goes to the default location.  The update/scanning functions work without any problems but it fails to place the logs in custom directory… Does anybody have any idea what I am doing wrong…?

AAH!  Now I understand the problem.  The guide which is on the website is newer than the one you have.  One reason for the new guide is that certain statements in the version you have were determined to be incorrect, and weren't caught before that one was put on the website.  The Product Manager went through the guide in detail, passed corrections on to the tech writer (me), and I updated the guide and got it pushed up to the web site.

The parts that have you confused me are the parts I removed because they were in error.  So, it appears that I am the cause of your confusion.  I apologize for that.  Please pull down the new guide and get rid of the old one.  The new one is dated 18 August 2014.

Again, sorry!
