Is this a dangerous IP? What is it? Is there any way to block it without getting notifications every few seconds? Or is it safe to give an exception?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure step one is working correctly.

Here, you can see the item in my list of programs. (photo 1)

When I right click on uninstall/change, I get the dialog box "do you want to let this program from an unknown publisher make changes to your computer" and I click "yes"

and I get this:

I am not sure "remove this manager from Add/Remove programs" will uninstall the program or just remove the item from the program list. But when I hit "close" without doing anything else, nothing changes. Should I check the box and hit close, or is there something else I should do?

Thank you for your help.

I think this is everything you wanted. I'm no longer getting the pop-up notification about the malicious website. I started at step 2 as you instructed.

Hi Susan,

Most of the items detected by ESET are files we've already removed.
As you can see, the Babylon files have "quarantine" in their file path, which means they are no longer active on your computer.

Please provide an update on your computer after completing the steps below.

STEP 1
xlK5Hdb.png Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST) Script

  • Press the Windows Key + r on your keyboard at the same time. Type Notepad and click OK.
  • Copy the entire contents of the codebox below and paste into the Notepad document.

  • Click File, Save As and type fixlist.txt as the File Name.
  • Important: The file must be saved in the same location as FRST64.exe.

NOTICE: This script is intended for use on this particular machine. Do not use this script on any other machine; doing so may cause damage to your Operating System.

  • Right-Click FRST64.exe and select Run as administrator to run the programme.
  • Click Fix.
  • A log (Fixlog.txt) will open on your desktop. Copy the contents of the log and paste in your next reply.

The machine is working much faster and I am not getting any alerts. I had also been having problems running search engines - I would be diverted to other web sites instead of the search results, but that is no longer happening.

I did update the programs as you instructed and remove Java 71.

Thank you so much for your help. Let me know if there is anything else I need to do.
