Hellp with infection needed

Hello Kevin, I had been following your comments with interest as I had the same difficulty removing SpeedCheck popup ads this afternoon/evening. I had tried much of the above (Microsoft Security Essentials, Windows Defender Offline, Malware Bytes) up until the Junkware Removal Tool, which I did run, which removed some items but did not solve the problem. I skipped the Farbar tool, and OTL, and did run Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool without success. Scanning with ZOEK with your script above fixed my issue, it did require a reboot. I have since again rebooted my computer and tested IE, Chrome and Firefox and all are remaining clean. Thank you so very much!!

To be clear, I also had manually removed software on my Win 7 64-bit machine that also appeared to be associated with this attack - Optimizer Pro, Genius Box, Any Protect, File Opener Pro. Malware Bytes found a whopping 627 items of infection, the problem all started this morning. Much was cleaned but SpeedCheck kept holding on through it all. Kept trying to reset defaults in IE, Firefox, Chrome without success, then found your thread via Google and kept following along step by step till it was cleaned. Greatly appreciate your help with this issue!
