Skype Outbound connection?

i am using skype normally
but daily i am getting this pop-up window saying this:

 

Detection, 5/11/2014 01:33:48, SYSTEM, ADMIN-HP, Protection, Malicious Website Protection, IP, 41.20.88.80, 61605, Outbound, C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe,

 

could you please clarify this for me?

I'm sorry but you have this issue confused.

 

This sub-forum is for reporting a situation where a legitimate file is detected when it shouldn't be detected as either malware or as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP).

 

Your issue is about IP blocking in reference to Skype which is a a Peer-2-Peer (aka; P2P) application.  Eventually all P2P applications may reach out to an IP address in the Malwarebytes' block list.

Think of it as a phone call.  All you did was dial the number.  If Skype reached out to a site that is on the block list, think of it as placing a phone call and getting as a message "The number you have reached has been blocked by the phone company...".

 

This is not a malware issue.
