Recommended Posts

Almost daily I have to re-enter my purchasing ID and Key numbers. What is going on this never happened before, we purchased the Pro Program and recommended to all our friends and relatives now after all this time we have started to have issues with the ID and Key numbers. It accepts them however the next morning I have to enter them both again

Hi:

That's not a commonly-reported problem.
In fact, I don't recall seeing such a report.

When you say you have to re-enter the license info every day, are you getting some sort of error message or dialog window or notification from MBAM that the license is invalid?
If so, can you please post a screen shot?

If you are using 1-PC, lifetime, consumer licenses, they are valid for activation on only 1-PC at a time.

Is it possible that you are trying to activate a 1-PC license on more than one system?

Otherwise, let's start with routine troubleshooting, please, for one affected computer at a time:

  • Please follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
  • If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and post back attached to your next reply the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 3 logs are: FRST.txt, Addition.txt and CheckResults.txt)
  • NOTE: There is an FAQ section with valuable information located here - Common Questions, Issues, and their Solutions

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

There is a   - - - - - - - - box around the License enteries and when I go there it wants me to register my FREE PROGRAM, I have the Paid Program and I enter my numbers and it is fine for another day. Then today again it request my License numbers to register the Free Program. That is why I wrote you. I will try your suggestions.

There is no box around the view details on the Dashboard of the program it is a little lined box around the view details like this  - - - - -- - -- -. I will check in the morning and let you know if it returns, I would put the ID and our KEY numbers in and they were accepted then the next morning the box was back like we had to register a free program.

Hi:

Again, without a screen shot or error message, it's hard to say.

I *think* you might be describing the "focus rectangles", which IIRC are a new GUI feature to help visually impaired users who use screen readers to operate their MBAM and other software?

They are normal.

They have nothing to do with licensing.

Please refer to the attached screen shots.

Image #1:

Do you see "Premium" in the top ribbon?

What happens when you click the "My Account" link?

Image #2:

Do you see something that looks like this image (I have obscured my own license ID number and replaced it with a fake one)?

If these images don't explain what you are seeing, please EITHER post a screen shot of what you do see, AND/OR please follow the advice in this pinned topic to generate some system logs: Diagnostic Logs

Then, please attach all 3 logs to your next reply here in this thread.

Thanks,

We just go indoor plumbing a few years ago, these new fangled contraptions can drive you nuts. The store brought paper is killing our budget since they don't give out Store Catalogs or Yellow pages.

Yep being PA Dutch has become even harder the last few years.  WASS COMA DUE!
