Malwarebytes won't start

Hello,

 

I tried running Malwarebytes and get the following dialog box message:

 

C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbam.exe

The service cannot accept control messages at this time.

 

I tried to uninstall and get the following:

 

An error occurred while trying to uninstall... It may have already been uninstalled.

Would you like to remove...from the Programs and Features list?

 

When I click yes, the dialog box closes but the program is still listed. Version last installed (still installed?) is 2.0.2.1012 installed on 6/27/14.

 

Trying to install a newly downloaded copy I get:

 

The service cannot accept control messages at this time

 

Any help would be appreciated.

 

Windows 7 Pro

SP1

ZT systems i7-3770

64 bit OS

Issue resolved. It seems there was a conflict with Secunia. Uninstalled Secunia and it's fine.
