Hi:

Thanks for the logs.

While waiting for a staff member or expert to review them, I did notice this:

Total physical RAM: 1023.43 MBAvailable physical RAM: 572.75 MB

While -- strictly speaking -- it meets the system requirements for install on an XP system, this might perhaps be part of your problem, depending on what other programs might be consuming resources.

And this:

Drive c: (C-XP) (Fixed) (Total:9.54 GB) (Free:0.64 GB) FAT32 ==>[Drive with boot components (Windows XP)]Drive d: (DDISK) (Fixed) (Total:16.21 GB) (Free:3.75 GB) FAT32

It appears that you are running rather low on free space on your hard drive.

I'm sure AdvancedSetup or one of the other staff/experts will have some additional advice for you.

Thanks for your patience,

Got the same problem on a Windows XP SP3 x86(with all recent updates) machine I've been trying to repair lately. There was just some windows update problem which caused high cpu load but I haven't found any sign of harmful software at all(thought there was some miner in the beginning)

I am getting the same error as colleague bflmpsvz and I don't think the pc has any memory problems. Disks are fine without badblocks and there's enough free space on hdds and ram isn't filled at all.

It has ati card too, quicktime, mcafee(uninstalled that actually).

Funny fact: We are both from the same country, got the system in the same language. Couldn't it be time/date or language problem or just some win xp related stuff?

I just don't believe there's hidden nasty stuff preventing mbam to install.

I am returning the pc tomorrow (approx. in 22hours) so if anyone got any idea how to find any existing threat then I'd appreciate some realtime help like irc/icq/msn/skype so we could get rid of that faster.

Thanks.

Hi, and :welcome: , hchkrdtn:

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Each computer is unique.

Problems that sound "the same" most often are not.

The same is true for solutions.

They most often need to be individualized.

It is less confusing for everyone if we try to stick to "one user per topic".

Please start a NEW, SEPARATE topic using the cjfj.png button. (where we can help you in your own topic)

The staff and experts will be able to more easily provide both you and the OP with individual help to get you both up and running.

Thanks for your patience and understanding,
