My computer was slow so i looked on my processes and saw tbnotifier.exe.  thought that was malware so i downloaded your program and started scanning.  I'm up to 15 hours with close to 1 million files?  can't even tell if that's reasonable.  i did set it to scan my backup drive too which is 5 days worth of backups.   i got 4 files that may be infected? two productkey.exe files and 2 download.exe files (one on drive and one on backup).  its not scanning my files anymore though - just system object files for the past at least 6 hours?

i'm tempted to crash it, quarantine those files and call it a day.  will that do the trick or do i need to go through this.  i don't want to use my computer while it is scanning.

By the sounds of it you are performing a Custom Scan, and that is scanning every file including archive files so its going to take a long time.

Threat scans is normally want is recommended.

We could review some logs if you like, while the scan is going.

We would need more info on the system....

Please read the following and in your next reply ATTACH the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs

(the three files should be CheckResults.txt, FRST.txt and Addition.txt)

Thank You,
