Unable to Access Update Server

this is horrible - the install program with proper key should work - every time - no excuses - the "every computer is different" excuse doesn't cut it

 

I've tried the uninstall, reinstall, click this, that, what a pain - what's wrong with you guys that it can't recognize my valid account and ... well ... update itself

 

Very Dissatisfied ... the program didn't fix the mal-ware issue either - same one pops up every time I launch Chrome.

 

Need help and not happy about having to pay and jump through a bunch of hoops to make it work.

There used to be plenty of posts about "Unable to access update server".  I hope my solution helps as I was about to give up too.

I turned off any blockers in both of my firewalls that block China, Russia, and DoubleClick service. Now the database updates just fine. Without more detailed results, I'll presume it's DoubleClick cookies.

My firewalls are in PC software and router, so check all blockers you have.
