So on Wednesday avast came up saying it found 45 files labeled rootkit:hidden file. avast couldn't remove them and when I contacted avast they said it wasn't a false positive(personally I think the guy on the phone was wrong), So I formatted the computer, well the computer is saying it has another infection same label rootkit:hidden file,

the file in question is labeled

C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore\logs\tmp.edb

Of note both Wednesday and Thursday(after the format and reinstall) Windows was running updates. On thrusday I though I had all the updates installed but apparently I was wrong since even today their was updates being installed.

The 45 files found on Wednesday where on SoftwareDistribution folder as well.
