Installation error 5

Malwarebytes is acting up for me and it is giving me a message when "Creating directories...":

Setup was unable to create the directory

"C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware".

 

Error 5: Access is denied.

 

When I press "OK" 

Setup was not completed.

 

Please correct the problem and run Setup again.

 

 

Then it just rolls back the changes.

 

I've tried looking at other topics which are almost the same as mine but no dice unfortunately.

 

I run with windows vista.

Make sure you are logged in as an Administrator when trying to install Malwarebytes....

Let's try this first....

• Please uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
• If that does not correct the issue, then Please read the following and in your next reply ATTACH the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs

  (the three files should be CheckResults.txt, FRST.txt and Addition.txt)

Unfortunately, this system has a rogue rootkit malware that blocks security softwares.  You need expert guided help to get it removed before you can install the Anti-Malware.
