Is it possible to schedule automatic updates?

Recommended Posts

In the previous version of MBAM, the database would get updated automatically around 10 am PST on my desktop, not sure if this was a default setting.

In the latest version, it always tells me that the database is out of date when I start in the morning. Is it possible to schedule automatic updates for the database (NOT the scan)?

Incidentally, even though the latest version may be better in terms of threat identification, it's two steps backward in terms of the UI. I don't like it all, it's not intuitive.

MBAM should resist the temptation to fix things which are not broken, in the name of "new and improved".

Yes you can set automatic updates. It should be set by default though. Open the DashBoard and select Settings at the top. Then Automated Scheduling. If there is no Update Task Add one, if one exists select the task and select edit to change the frequency of updates.

Thanks!
