Manually starting real time scanning

If "Start Malwarebytes Anti-Malware with windows" is not checked.   Can "real time scanning" be started after PC boots up?

Yes it can.  Click on the Desktop shortcut for the Anti-Malware.

What version of Windows is on this box, b.t.w.?

Also, there are ways to start it off the Windows run option, but the desktop shortcut should suffice.

 

I cant tell why you said "realtime" scanning?   If the program is just in Free use mode, it is just a on-demand scanner and cant provide you the "realtime protections".   What I suggested above is for on-demand scanning.

 

p.s.s. Please describe what you need to do.

You are making it more difficult for yourself.  Why not simply just change your Settings to  have all protections on and also to auto-start with Windows?

I realize that.  However, is there anyway to do what I want?

No, You would have to start the program manually, go into settings, and turn ON the realtime protections.

If you have a paid license, I am not understanding why you have the setup that you report having.
