Malwarebytes Anti-Malware has encountered a problem and needs to close

Hi,

  A few days ago I noticed that malwarebytes wasn't running in the lower right corner as it typically does. So I tried to open it through the short cut and a window popped up stating "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware has encountered a problem and needs to close". I went through the 11 steps from https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/85715-faq-malwarebytes-anti-malware-wont-run-or-failed-to-resolve-my-issues/ with no results. I have been using malwarebytes pro for as long as I've owned this computer. I was unable to download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool What can I do next?
