Malware Bytest v. 2.0.2.1012 FREE hanging on file system scan

system is hanging on the 'File System' portion of the scan; the file it hangs on varies from scan to scan; never had these issues with v. 1.75

 

Running Windows 7 Home Premium w/ plenty of resources/memory/etc.

 

Even temporarily disabled A.V. programs; hanging happens in safe mode or normal startup. When trying to Cancel the scan after hanging, it won't end properly and I must end task via Task Mgr....no scan log is created either, once I have to end the task...

• Please uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
• If that does not correct the issue, then Please read the following and in your next reply ATTACH the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs

  (the three files should be CheckResults.txt, FRST.txt and Addition.txt)

I have indeed already done 3 separate mbam clean uninstalls, and still v. 2 hangs...I went back to 1.75 version and had no hang issues; still followed your requested steps in your reply, and if i'd need to remove 1.75, reinstall v. 2 and repeat the steps, I will..it's just that v2 won't finish a scan so far...
