My PC flopy disc is noisy its initial start up.

My flopy CD drive is making noise during its initial PC start up.Somebody recommended me to take reports from FRST.Attached i am sending reports i got from FRST scanning.

Can any body recommend?

Is that other topic for the SAME computer?
 
If it is, as the computer appears to be infected, the first priority will be to get it cleaned up.

It explains the options for free, expert help >>AND<< the preliminary steps to expedite the process.

this may be a true hardware issue along with a malware/infection issue and the two are not related .

a floppy drive is not contained in/a part of a cd/dvd drive , they are separate devices .

(floppy drives are pretty much a thing of the past)

Yep, I assume that may be the case.

However, as the OP already had multiple topics going here and in General (and now in the Malware Removal section), and also has what appears to be an infected computer, I thought it would be advisable to work on one problem at a time?

Yes right flopy and cd driver are Teo départ part.I have both on my PC but my CD driver makes noise no problem Wi flopy A.

I meant my CD driver which is "F" makes noise but flopy "A" is OK.

it does sound like two separate issues .

remove the malware first and then fix the cd/dvd drive .

i would say that most likely :

it is hijacked in/by software

it has a mechanical problem/failure of the cd/dvd drive that is not "malware/virus" related .

 

once the malware and/or virus issue is cleared up this will eliminate one possible cause and will be more proof of the noisy drive being a physical problem .

Ok I am still waiting for instructions about how to remove malware or virus out of my FRST scanning reports i have already posted at another section.
