Malware downloading issue

Let me start off and just say I am not really computer savvy but I am will to learn new things. I recently just brought a viao flip and am having trouble getting melware on it. I am getting the message that it is a corrupted file??? I looked on the form and did try DOWNLOADING FRST to see if that would help. Unfortunately, my computer wouldn't allow if due to "publisher" issue??? was wondering if you could help =0)
