You may wish to try the clean reinstall in step #1 in @Firefox's reply here.
 

If the reinstall doesn't resolve your issue:

Problems that sound "the same" most often are not.
The same is true for solutions.
They most often need to be individualized.
It is less confusing for everyone if we try to stick to "one user per topic".
Please start a NEW, SEPARATE topic here in the forum using this clickable cjfj.png button.
The staff and experts will be able to more easily provide both you and the OP with individual help to get you both up and running.

I'm sorry but if you're not willing to post logs as requested here on the forum then we will not be able to assist you. We are not magicians and cannot remotely tell what is going on with your computer without some type of logs.
