Acapulco and Mexico City Trip last January

I was at Teotihuacan in the '70s.  Very steep narrow steps on the pyramids.

It was a breath taking site to see the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon.

When I was there, Mexico City was 50 miles away from the epicenter of a major Earthquake.

Thanx for posting the pics !

Those were not steps David, they were death traps ;) I only went up a few but my size 10 feet made it so much harder to go down like normal stairs. I guess feet were very small during that time ;)

On noticeable thing, they knew how to build in those days, unlike today. I doubt our concrete would last as long as the mix they used then and in Roman days.

Thanks for sharing Andy.

Mexico City is like the 3rd most populated city.. not good for me as I'm not a fan of big crowds. I do like the architectural buildings though and yes you're right about the materials. Now days the cheapest contractor wins, not the best material contractor.
