Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted September 25, 2014 Root Admin ID:882950 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Crazy how big these cruise ships are. Some of those houses are 3 story and on a hill and the ship is still taller than them.
Firefox Posted September 25, 2014 ID:883119 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Never thought of it that way, but not that you mention it... it is BIG!
daledoc1 Posted September 26, 2014 ID:883443 Share Posted September 26, 2014 And that looks like one of the smaller ones?
Staff Spud Posted September 26, 2014 Staff ID:883455 Share Posted September 26, 2014 Neat picture. You get about don't you Ron. Btw is that a Union Jack flying on the flagpole even though it doesn't look like anywhere in the UK.
Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted September 26, 2014 Author Root Admin ID:883517 Share Posted September 26, 2014 Yes that is a smaller ship DD. The one I was on (Grand Princess) is larger. A couple years ago it was the largest cruise ship but they have a couple others that are bigger now. Very well could be a UK flag Andy - not sure but many of the ships have home berths in different Countries.
David H. Lipman Posted September 26, 2014 ID:883531 Share Posted September 26, 2014 When I was in the NY Bight one day fishing on Davies Dinghy (14' Lowe SeaNymph) and I was "near" one of these behemoths heading towards the Verrazano, I felt really, really, really, small.
