Hi,

I have an issue with opening Malwarebytes Anti-Malware as it says my database is out of date and it won't run the scan.  When I try to run the update or scan, I get an error that the program has stopped working and to close program.  I have attached the 3 text docs as requested from similar previous posts to aid in fixing the issue.  Please take a look and let me know how I should proceed.

Thank you in advance for your time!

Hello and :welcome: :

Preliminary review of your logs shows evidence of infection.

We can't work on malware diagnostics and removal in this sub-section of the forum.

So, for expert assistance, I suggest that you please follow the advice in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers.
It explains the options for free, expert help >>AND<< the preliminary steps to take to expedite the process.

>>As you have already run FRST, you just need to start a new, separate topic -- with the same logs -- in the malware removal section of the forum.
A malware analyst will guide you through the cleanup and repair process.

>>Your logs also show that you have run Combofix - did you seek help at another computer forum?

If so, it would assist your malware helper to provide in your new post a link to the other forum, so that s/he will know what repairs have been undertaken.

If not, then it would be advisable NOT to perform any additional "self-medication" until you get expert help -- use of such tools without guidance can damage the system and complicate recovery.

Thanks,
