Good evening to all of you! (it is 9 p.m. in my country right now)

I'm new here and registred due to my Malwarebytes-Program detecting 18 elements of "PUP.Optional.Frostwire.TB.A" on my PC some minutes ago.

I started a search and just 30 seconds after I started it the program said "18 elements detected".

Those are (sort of) everywhere! They are detected as a file in C:/ProgramFiles(x86)/Ask.com/GenericAskToolbar.dll, but also as a lot of "Key" and "Value" at the path "HKLM/SOFTWARE/[...], the [...] following other places like "WOW6432NODE" "CLASSES" etc.

The "AskToolbar" is not in my system control panel, and i can not remember to have installed it.

Some time ago, my Avira-Antivirus updated itself to the new "Green-Slider-Version" which i deinstalled with the help of the Avira-Community, because it slowed down my PC, so i now have the "old" version of Avira (which I do update every week and run a search, though)

Plus, my PC slowed itself down as well. When I bought it about 2 years ago, it took about 45 - 60 second from pressing the power button, over logging in until starting firefox and showing my home website. Now it takes about 90 - 120 seconds...

Yesterday, the taskbar even was changed to "white" for a very short time (just a few seconds), as if it was changed back to the "Classical WIndows"-Design.

Now, I am very confused about the 18 elements of "Malware", because I do never, never ever visit any illegal websites (if WOT shows me the red circle, i avoid to visit the website). I do not know if i can safely "block" the 18 elements, due to they also seem to point to the Registry and i do not want to break my PC, if has been very expensive back then.

Please help me, because I also do online-banking via my PC and i do not want any cybercriminals to get access to my bank account.

Thank you very much in advice for your help! =)
