Can I "reset" Malwarebytes to detect and remove items I allowed.

Let me first say that this issue is due to the "button" to "Remove" is to close to the one to "clear exclusions" and now I can not detect and remove them as I first allowed then cleared rather than removed them. The computer is now redirecting site searches and feeding me ads for unwanted items. I am using Anti-Malware 2.0.2.1012 Build Date 5/12/2014. Is there a way to reset the program to start fresh?

Hello FCMTECH

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatibale with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

  • Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Press Scan button.
  • It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please copy and paste it to your reply.
  • The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.
