dolau Posted September 16, 2014 ID:879578 Share Posted September 16, 2014 I have the latest version of Anti Exploit premium running on Windows 8 and firefox and it says it is running and all is proptected I brought the software after I used the trail version and either through the software or by coincidence all the damned annoying pop up adverts on my web pages disappeared I am running the licenced version now and they have all come back- have I brought the wrong product or was it justa coincidence that the annoyance went away when I was using the trail version? MBAE could have a side-effect of not showing certain ads if they are malicious (malvertising) ads that use vulnerability exploits. But I think in your case it might be mostly just coincidence. In order to get rid of annoying ads I recommend you install free products such as AdBlock or AdFender. Btw., moving this to the Questions sub-forum.
